These are two pictures I could use for my analysis of arguments in pictures. I chose the first one because it looks like it was once a nice home but it has been abandoned, I think it represents broken dreams. The second picture is from the Dove campaign for real beauty and I think it's very interesting to see how the woman is changed to fit the ideals of society.
I love the first picture because of the fact the house looks beautiful even though it looks like no one has taken care of it. It shows how beautiful things can be forgotten about but stay beautiful nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy the second picture of the woman. The way that her face is divided into one half that is done up and one that is left to the natural beauty really says something. It can also depict how society prefers women to look. It can also show the different sides that a person has and portrays to the world.
ReplyDeleteI think that the first picture also could be a representation of fakeness. The outside is beautiful and it looks like a nice house. But what you don't know is that the inside is empty and maybe even trashed. You could interpret it as a comment on the importance of personality instead of looks in a person.
